Samantha Dixon, Member of Parliament for Chester North and Neston, is hosting a Macmillan Coffee Afternoon in Chester city centre on Friday, 24th October, and is inviting residents to come together, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and support a vital cause. 

The event aims to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, an organization dedicated to providing practical, medical, and emotional support to people affected by cancer across the UK. 

Speaking about the event, Samantha said: 

“Macmillan Cancer Support does incredible work, and I’m pleased to host this event to bring our community together in support of their vital services,”  

“It’s especially exciting to have delicious cakes donated by local bakeries such as Kookaburra and Bear Bakery. I want to thank all the businesses who have kindly agreed to donate and support this important cause.

“I encourage everyone to join me for a cuppa, some cake, and good company, all for a great cause.”

All funds raised during the afternoon will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support to help continue their essential work supporting those affected by cancer.
